Ingredients:
rhubarb:
an approximately 2 cm layer of chopped rhubarb the bottom of the pie tin
1 cup sugar
ev. 1 teaspoon vanilla
SMULDEG:
2 cups flour
1 dl graham flour or oatmeal
4 tsp sugar
150 g butter or margarine
Cooking:
Preheat the oven to 200 grader.
scale ev. rough rhubarb with a vegetable peeler. Shred rhubarb for about 1 cm pieces or finer.
Grease an ovenproof dish with 1 tablespoons butter or margarine.
Add rhubarb pieces into shape.
Sprinkle with sugar and a little vanilla sugar.
Make the crumble to rhubarb pie:
Add flour, Sugar and butter (margarine) in a bowl.
Work with your fingertips or a fork, mix together the flour into a grainy mass.
Cover with rhubarb smuldeg.
Rhubarb Pie Bake in middle of oven until it got light brown color and the rhubarb has softened, as 20-30 minutes.
Serve cold rhubarb pie with vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream.
