- Potato, fast ca 1 kg
- 2-3 jars of anchovies
- 3 -5 cup heavy cream
- 3 st yellow Close
- Eider's unsmoked caviar (obs! not Kalle's caviar), as 2 tbsp
- 1-2 msk tomatpuré
- Breadcrumbs
Do this:
- Start by slicing the onion and fry it in butter in the frying pan without it getting colored
- Let the onion cool
- Grease a refractory mold
- Cut potatoes into fairly narrow pieces, 3-4 mm, and put in the mold as a first layer. You should not rinse the potatoes until the starch disappears.
- Add the onion as a second layer over the potatoes.
- Put a layer of anchovies over the onion (save anchovies).
- Another layer of potatoes over the onion.
- Finish with a layer of anchovies in a nice pattern over the potatoes
- Mix anchovy spade with cream, tomato puree and caviar and pour over “the gratin”.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs over everything
Bake in the oven for about 45 min to 1 hours on 180 GR C.
